Tao of Rufus

This is Rufus Pollock's tao, or "way".

It serves as my guide to life, ranging from the very high level like how to set life goals to how to plan projects and track time.

It is also a guide to what I stand for and how I go about things. It is distilled from the operating principles I've discovered over more than two decades running and involved in a variety of non-profits and businesses.

Currently, these materials are dispersed across various sources like the Datopian Playbook and Life Itself Tao, making it inconvenient to manage or refer to. This project is a work in progress 🚧 to consolidate my scattered life guide materials into a single location.

See the sidebar on the left for the materials available here so far.

How to Read the Tao

Or … The Truth Believed is a Lie. Live the Way, do not Follow It.

These are principles and patterns, not rules and regulations. Use them as guidance and inspiration not as dogma.

The wise enshrine the miraculous bones of the ancients within themselves: they apply the teachings to themselves and their situations not just in their thoughts. They regard the teachings of the way not as an external body of knowledge to be possessed or as an infleible dogma to be believed or revered but as something living to be practised.
